WILSON OMORUYI (ACA, MBA)

Wilson Omoruyi has over 2 decades’ experience in accounting and finance. He commenced his accounting career in 1986 with Prudence Insurance Brokers and Consultants, Lagos as an Accounts and Insurance Officer. He has also worked with companies like BSR Company Nigeria Limited, a catering company (Accountant); DBN Television (Head of Finance); Supo Ajibola & Co. (Chartered Accountants-Audit Manager); Bon Voyage Travel Agency (Accountant); Royal Suites Limited, a merchandising outfit (Head of Accounts); National Bank of Nigeria –Head, Inter branch reconciliation; Celia Motophone (Manager, Finance) and Reliance Telecommunications Limited – Head of Finance.

Wilson designed and set up the accounting systems for most of the companies where he had worked. He was also actively involved in installation of internal control systems and preparing accounts manuals. He is well grounded in accounting and finance in both manufacturing and service sectors of the economy. He has also interfaced extensively with the public sector and has garnered considerable experience in the process.

He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and holds an MBA from the University of Benin specializing in Finance & Strategy.
